Pupils at four Fife schools told to stay home after positive COVID tests
Pupils at four Fife schools face more time away from their classrooms as a result of positive COVID tests.
The latest schools to be hit are Aberdour Primary, Pitreavie Primary, Leslie Primary, and Woodmill High School, Dunfermline.

All children in S3 have been asked to stay away from school today (Thursday)
There is no evidence of onward transmission within the school at this stage and the risk to pupils and staff appears to be low

Hide AdThere are two further positive tests at Pitreavie Primary in Dunfermline.
While there is no evidence of transmission within the school, as a precaution staff and pupils from the Yellow Room, Orange Room and Blue Room must now self-isolate, up to and including, October 8, returning to class on the ninth.
Contact tracers from the Test and Protect Team are in the process of identifying and tracing the known contacts of all positive cases to provide public health support and advice.
At Leslie Primary, one individual linked to the school has tested positive for COVID.

All pupils from the composite P2/3 class must remain off school and isolate until Sunday October 11, returning to school on the 12th
NHS Fife has also confirmed one person linked to Aberdour Primary School has tested positive.
All pupils from the P7 , Room 7 class must remain off school and isolate today (Thursday), returning to school on Friday.
