A LINE-UP of legends is heading for Fife next month for an event billed as '22 days of music heaven'.
Denny Laine, Benny Gallagher and John Martyn are among the galaxy of stars due to appear at the annual Fifestock festival, which takes place at the Inn at Lathones, Largoward, from February 17 to March 11.
Organised by Mundell Music, the festival will feature a concert every day in front of an audience of just 50.
It kicks off with two gigs by Denny Laine, who's making a welcome return to Scotland after spending many years writing and performing in California.
Originally lead singer with the Moody Blues, Laine is perhaps best known for performing with Paul McCartney's band Wings.
It was also Paul McCartney who had the biggest influence on the career of Benny Gallagher, who as one half of Gallagher and Lyle became known as one of the most prolific songwriters of his era, penning hits such as 'When I'm Dead and Gone', 'Heart on My Sleeve' and 'I Wanna Stay With You.'
Gallagher appears at Fifestock on February 22, and will be followed the next night by the Steve Gibbons Band, who have toured with The Who, Lynard Skynard and ELO among others.
The Wings connection continues with a gig by the band's former lead guitarist Henry McCullough, who also played with
Joe Cocker's Grease Band, while other artists who can claim to have friends in high places include guitarist John Jorgenson, who played with Elton John for six years, and Glasgow's own String Driven Thing, who toured alongside Genesis and Lindisfarne.
Guitar enthusiasts can look forward to an evening with Paul Rose, who's shared a stage with legends such as Brian May and Hank Marvin; an acoustic set from former Big Country guitarist Bruce Watson and a soulful gig with Dave Arcari.
Vocalists include Andrea Glass, one of the UK's biggest country and western stars; Henry Priestman, who sang with the Sex Pistols and the Christians, and Al Perkins, legend of Americana, who'll be appearing with Two Fingers of Firewater.
