A family lark in the park

LETHAM Glen rocked out on Sunday as Glenfest looks to have grown in popularity.

Last year the event was hit with bad weather but, although a chilly day, this year’s festival was much luckier.

Coinciding with Easter Sunday, there was plenty to do for all the family with an Easter egg hunt, duck race and face painting for the younger members, as music and craft displays were appreciated by older visitors.

Organised by a variety of groups, including Fife Council, MyBus, Clubs for Young People and the Sophian Events Group, this year’s festival benefited from a diverse blend of rock, blues, indie, acoustic and psychaedelia performances.

Those on the bill included Behind The Mask, Sandy Powell, Where Monsters Fear to Roam, Havana Rising, Garfunkel Klaus and the Watermelon Men, Homesick Aldo, SO4, the White Van Fugitives and Magic Voodoo Lounge.
