THE sun hid away but the day stayed dry on Sunday, as the Kennoway Carnival wrapped up several days of village Civic Week fun for another year.

Cotlands Park was the venue for the festivities, following a parade from the local primary school, headed by Kennoway Town Pipe Band and, among others, Lad and Lass, Dylan Page and Chloe Marshall, and their attendants.

Top visitor attractions included a dog display, Highland dancing, bonny babies, Zumba, carnival princess, Mr Muscles, magic show, beat the goalie, boxing display, quad bikes and children’s races.
