A CHARITY fashion show held at a Kirkcaldy hotel last week has been hailed a huge success.

After a lot of preparation and organisation by four Adam Smith College students, the event at the Beveridge Park Hotel went by without a hitch on Wednesday night.

The students behind the event were Jessica Copland, Rebecca Malcolm, Anna McAvennie and Ruth Watson and it was organised as part of their course work.

Through the event the ladies raised around £1000 which will be donated to their two charities of choice - the Yorkhill Sick Kids’ Hospital in Glasgow and the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA).

The organisers would like to thank the models and all those who were involved in making the night run smoothly, as well as all those who attended and helped raise the fantastic figure for the charities.
