YOUTH project members are to attempt a near 1,000 mile cycle ride for charity.

The Clued-Up crewwill set-off on the journey from Lands End to John O’ Groats next month.

The trek is being sponsored by Tullis Russell, and the participants will visit the mill to be met by managing director Steve Moss and town MP Lindsay Roy on June 6.

Clued-Up provides a comprehensive ‘youth friendly’ substance misuse and information and support service, also targeting the wider issues of general well being and lifestyle.

Two staff members from the project, three from Fife Council’s outdoor education team and four young people who have worked with the service will be taking part in the cycle, where they will try to cover what is being described as the ‘long way up’ in ten days.
