CASH: Worbey and Farrell with Christine Foy and her grandaughter Robyn

THE recent visit of music comedy duo Worbey and Farrell to the town proved to be all smiles for one Glenrothes woman.

Well known charity fund-raiser, Christine Foy with the help of family and support of the singing duo themselves managed to collect a whopping £275 from theatre goers over three nights at the Rothes Halls.

Christine was ‘delighted’ by the generosity of the public and added: “The money will now be divided up between two charities, firstly, Many’s Meals helping orphaned children across war-torn and famine ravaged countries to get a meal and school tuition. “The second charity is the Glenrothes and District Across Group helping disadvantaged children across Fife, I’d like to thank all the people who donated and especially Worbey and Farrell who gave us their full support and even donated part of their show fee on the evening to the collection, they were just fantastic.”
