PUPILS from Buckhaven High School topped the charity charts with a performance spectacular for Children in Need.

The Sixth Year Fundraising Committee organised a hugely successful lunchtime ‘Top of the Pops at Buckhaven’ show, with a number of pupils singing and dancing to songs from the different decades of ‘Top of the Pops’.

Performers were Declan Cleave, Nicole Floyd, Erin Boyle, Lauryn Cameron, Katie Mitchell, Brooke Robson, Mitchell Haig, Jacob Winton and Hidden Virtue.

Tommy Inglis also starred, by agreeing to have his long hair shaved off on stage for the cause. The combination of ticket sales, sales of cakes and sponsor money will push this year’s total to well over £1000. Thanks went to the committee for putting on a tremendous show and keeping alive Buckhaven’s long record of charity fund-raising successes over the years.
