A VERY Vintage Fair held recently in Kirkcaldy has given our Maggie’s Centre a cash boost.

The event, organised by the Secret Wardrobe, was held in Society. The girl guides helped to raise funds at the door and the exhibitors paid for their tables which helped to collect a total of £310 for Maggie’s.

Jacki Winter, owner of the Secret Wardrobe, said: “Maggies was chosen as it’s my nominated charity for this year for any fundraisers that I will do. We had over 300 people through the doors on the day and it was all donations taken by the girl guides.”

There will be another Vintage Fair held in Society on Sunday, July 1.

Tu Edwards, Maggie’s community fundraiser, said: “Maggie’s is delighted to received this donation raised by these wonderful guides who wanted to give something back to their community. They worked really hard. A big thank you to them all!”
