Card shop question delivered

The future of a Glenrothes card shop is uncertain.

Clinton, Britain’s biggest card retailer, suspended trading of its shares last week after its largest supplier, American Greetings, took steps to place it into administration.

AG, which has bought £35 million of company loans, made the move after Clinton was unable to repay its debts.

The decision puts all the firms 628 stores at risk, including the outlet at the Kingdom Centre in Glenrothes and branches in Leven, Dunfermline and St Andrews.
