Skene Group lands Forth Road Bridge contract
Skene Group has landed a major new Forth Road Bridge contract
Glenrothes based company, Skene Group, has been awarded a prestigious contract to supply ready-mix pre batched concrete for the new Forth Road Bridge project and with it the prospect of securing jobs throughout Fife.
The Skene Group, from their facilities in Fife will supply works on the north side of the Forth.
Transport Scotland’s Principal Contractor for the project, Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC) has awarded multiple orders for materials and equipment required for concrete production on the project.
The contract allows concrete to be supplied from a number of local sites and will maximise the opportunities for Skene and its employees.
