A WELL-known doctor has retired from his father's practice after nearly 30 years serving Levenmouth patients.
Dr David Sinclair's departure from Leven Health Centre marks the end of an era begun by his late father Dr John Sinclair, who died in 2005.

He said: "For over 60 years there has been a Dr Sinclair in practice in Leven. Throughout my time here I h
ave been proud to serve my patients and increase the quality of their care.

"I would like to thank them for sharing their lives with me."
Dr Sinclair is an Associate Member of the General Medical Council and trained medical students at St Andrews University as well as GPs locally.

Doctors Ross, Corstorphine and McQuitty will continue the practice at Leven.

In a joint statement they said: "David has been a great mentor over the years and has always been popular with our patients.

"We will miss his advice and experience but wish him well for his retirement."

Practice manager Tracy Campbell added: "He will be greatly missed and all the staff would like to wish him well in his retirement."

The father-of-two now hopes to spend more time in France with his wife Joyce - they are about to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.

"I know the team I leave will continue to give the highest quality of care to my patients and I wish them well," he said.
