MEET 'Robster the Lobster' who was saved from the pot last week.
Caught just off the Isle of May, this 50-year-old crustacean weighed in at a whopping 10lbs.

He was caught aboard the Anstruther-based prawn boat Stroma Isle by Billy Dunn and skipper Rab Deas.

Billy's partner, Trish Clark said: "It was enormous – far too big for the pot – and after some deliberation as to what to do we contacted the Sea Life Centre in St. Andrews which was pleased to give it a home.

"The lobster is estimated to be between 40-50 years old and is now safely housed there."

She added: "We have called it Robster and are not sure whether it is male or female but have asked the Sea Life Centre to let us know if it finds out."
