A KIRKCALDY couple were rocking down the isle when they tied the knot in unusual circumstances.
David Livingston and new wife Samantha (both 24) took the plunge when they were at the Rockness Music Festival - and became the first couple of the weekend to get married in a giant inflatable church.
The couple got engaged on Valentine's Day last y
ear, and have been dating for eight years.
And despite the inflatable chapel being open to anyone who wants to get 'married' unofficially, the couple legally tied the knot on the banks of Loch Ness.
"It all went really well, although we were both really nervous," David, a sales assistant at Homebase, told The Press. "We had to plan it months before but I didn't find it too hard to keep a secret - although I think Samantha did.
"We had considered going abroad but it was expensive, and we wanted to do something different so this was it. We're both really happy about the way it worked out."
On the day Samantha and her friends were treated to hairstyles in the Toni and Guy tent at the festival, while David made sure his kilt was free from mud, sealed in a storage box in his tent until the big day.
The newlyweds' shocked families, who knew nothing about the nuptials, celebrated with them after they returned from the weekend festival.
