CHARITIES in the Cupar area are being invited to take part in a community fair being held in the town.
Tesco is inviting four registered charities to have a stall at the event which takes place in the supermarket car park on Sunday, September 12, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The store's community champion Elaine Brailsford explained there will be 26 stalls comprising six national charities and six local charities, who will be using the event to raise the profile of their organisations.
There will be no charity collections on the day.

The fair will also feature six national Tesco suppliers and six local suppliers who will be promoting their goods and handing out freebies.
There will also be two Tesco stalls, one focussing on 'green' issues and one about the work of the local community champion.

Elaine said it is hoped that amongst the attractions on the day will be face painters, magicians, dancers and the local emergency services.
The local radio station have been asked to come along and provide the music at the free event.

Any local charities wishing to take a stall should write to Elaine Brailsford at Tesco, South Road, Cupar, KY15 5JE.
