TV VIEWERS across north east Fife are being prepared for the big digital switchover.
A series of drop-in sessions hosted by Digital UK will take place next month to give people advice on how and when the change will affect them.
Drop in clinics will take place on March 1 at Auchtermuchty Community Centre from 10 a.m.-1 p.m; in the
Corn Exchange, Cupar, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.; and in Henderson Hall, Leuchars from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
On March 2, the Digital UK team will be in St Andrews town hall from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and in Crail community hall from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
And on March 17 community councils in the Cupar council ward, plus people living in sheltered housing in the area, will be invited to attend an event in the Age Concern centre where more advice on the switchover will be available.
Households in north east Fife are likely to receive their TV signal from either the Angus or Craigkelly transmitter groups.
The switchover dates for those watching TV via the Angus transmitter groups is August 4 and 18 this year, while those watching via the Craigkelly transmitter will not go digital until sometime between April and June 2011.
