FIFE'S smallest music venue has pulled out all the stops to create arguably the Kingdom's biggest festival of 2010.
The Inn At Lathones unveiled its Fifestock line-up this week — and once again it has pulled in some of the biggest names in the music business.
The 50-seater converted stables will host a fantastic programme of live music between February 18 and March 14 featuring acts as diverse as Carlene Carter, Grahama Goldman from 10CC, J J GIlmour from The Silencers, and guitar legend Mick Taylor.
The acts cover everything from rock to country and should attract hugely diverse audiences to the rural venue.
Fifestock kicks-off on February 18 with a set from blues band Souped Up Fords before Rob Clements takes to the stage the following night — he's probably best known as the man who penned some of Lindisfarne's best songs including 'Meet Me On The Corner' and 'Road To Kingdom Come'.
The Lindisfarne connection returns on February 25 with a set from singer-songrwiter Steve Daggett.
Fans of the The Silencers, one of the many Scottish bands to breakthrough in the late 80s/early 90s can look forward to a solo slot from singer J J Gilmour on February 20, while country singer John Miller and his Country Casuals are in town on February 21.
Dead Like Harry hit the stage on February 22, supported by Scouting For Girls.
Fifestock also welcomes back some 'Inn' regulars, namely the Deborah Bonham Band on February 23 and 24 — she's the daughter of the late great John Bonham of Led Zeppelin fame — and Woodstock veterans, the Henry McCullough Band on March 12 and 13.
Another act with a long CV coming to the festival is Hank Wangford on February 27.
If rock guitar is your thing then choose from Jennifer Batten on February 26 or Mick Taylor on March 5 and 6.
And the big names keep on coming with 10CC's Graham Goldman appearing on March 7 and 8, followed by Carlene Carter on March 9-10.
The daughter of June Carter and stepdaughter of Johnny Cash, she has made her own name in the country music world.
Add in gigs by free tribute act, Freeway, guitarist Ian Siegal, and Phoenix with John Verity, and you have the makings of an eclectic festival.
