THE Lomond Ceilidh Band has just releasd a new album called 'Dusk 'till Dawn'.
It is the band's fourth album on their own label, Lomond Ceilidh Records.

The Lomond Ceilidh Band consists of Alan Small from Auchtermuchty on accordion, Ewan Stark (Falkland) on fiddle and Callum Wallace (Perth) on drums.

Having been full-time musicians for more than 12 years, they have not just performed in the British Isles but also in Denmark, Germany, India and Oman.

They have been one of the resident bands at Crieff Hydro Hotel for many years now.

Most of the band's work is playing for dances around village halls up and down Scotland, as well as weddings and corporate events.

On this latest album, recorded with Cupar based Thain Multimedia, they have invited a few guests to join them in order to give variety in the selection.

Pipers Lindsay Stark and Neil Paterson help out on the pipe selection playing a Gordon Duncan tune, Addie Harper jnr. from Wick throws in some electric guitar, and Jason Faichney from Edinburgh joins them on piano for the Van Morrison hit 'Have I Told You Lately'.

The band has helped out and organised their own events over the last 12 years to raise thousands of pounds for both local and worldwide charities and causes, one of the most popular being a 12 hour ceilidh which has raised in excess of £6000 for children's charities.

Copies of the new CD are available direct from the band on 0796 738 4009 or e-mail lomondceilidhband@hotmail.com
