NORTH East Fife MP, Sir Menzies Campbell, is to defend his seat at the next general election.
The former Liberal Democrat leader, who vowed to continue fighting for the constituency following his resignation last year, was unanimously re-adopted by the North East and Central Fife Liberal Democrats in St Andrews.

Sir Ming, as he is known to many, has held the seat since 1987.
At the same event, Glenrothes by-election candidate Harry Wills was elected as the new convener of the party.

Former Scottish Liberal Democrat director of campaigns Dr Derek Barrie was elected as vice-convener.
