THE Cupar Flower Show garden competitions were judged on Saturday by Forfar based Leslie Craib, a qualified judge and chairman of the Dundee District of the National Vegetable Society.
Les who has over 40 years experience said: "There are a lot of nice gardens in around the Cupar area.
"The quality of the flower gardens were extremely high, probably as good as I have seen in last 10 years.
"The quality of the crops in the vegetable gardens are on a par with most areas. On the whole, the classes were very competitive and very good to judge."
He also said that those who exhibited their gardens should seriously consider entering their flowers and vegetables into the Cupar Flower Show on August 14 and 15.
