THE Queen has sent "warm good wishes" to the people of Glenrothes as the town marks its 60th anniversary.
Her Majesty, who has visited three times since 1958, led tributes ahead of Monday's milestone.
Civic leaders and politicians also spoke of their pride in the town's past and hopes for its future.
The Gazette has produced an anniversary magazine, which comes free with the newspaper this week.
The 84-page publication tells the story of Glenrothes from 1948 to the present.
