A FUNDRAISER in memory of the CISWO Club's resident drummer, Ian Garrie, has raised over £2,000.
The event, which was held at the North Street club in April, saw local musicians come together to raise money for ward four at Edinburgh's Western General Hospital.
Among those who performed were many who had played alongside Ian over the years, including Brian Crombie, Grant Haycock and Dunragan.
Around 400 people helped donate the bumper pay day for the hospital's oncology unit.
Ian, who played drums at the club for 13 years, passed away earlier this year, and his partner, Karen Gregory (right) and band mates Brian Crombie and Grant Haycock decided to organise the event in his memory.
She said: "Ian went into ward four at the Western General in January and he died on February 20.
Karen and Ian's dad, Jack (second right)presented a cheque to Leanne Whyte (left), a staff nurse on ward four at the CISWO.
Club chairman, Tony Gregory, and social convenor, Charles Rodden were also at the presentation.
