WHILE many house prices across the country are in decline, one stunning Glenrothes property is bucking the trend.
Formonthills Farmstead is currently on the market for offers over £1,190,000.
It is believed to be the largest price ever asked for a home in the town.
The Benvane Road property is made up of separate converted dwellings including a farmhouse, bothy and but 'n' ben, and has already attracted interest from buyers who - despite the gloom surrounding the market -still want to shell out for it.
Kinloch Property Services Lesley Honeyman, who is managing the sale of Formonthills, said: "It's is a fairly unique situation for us to be selling a property of this price in Glenrothes."
