A GLENROTHES campaigner leading the fight against the smoking ban has issued a stark election warning to councillors and MSPs.
The comments by CISWO Club secretary, David Nelson, comes on the six month anniversary of the restrictions being introduced.
He claimed a number of licensees throughout Scotland are facing financial devastation unless some provision for smokers in pubs and clubs is made.
And he warned that if measures are not put in place, Fifers will hit back at the polls during the local government and Scottish Parliament elections in May.
It's feared licensed premises are continuing to struggle with the new law which came into force across Scotland on March 28.
