JOBS at some branches of a clothing store that went into administration have been saved, but not those in Glenrothes.
The doors of Happit, in Lyon Way, were closed suddenly on Monday, January 4 and it later emerged that its parent company, 2nd Thoughts Ltd had gone into administration.

This week, administrators Begbies Traynor revealed that the business had been bought by Ellie Louise Trading Limited, a firm owned by the same family who had run 2nd Thoughts.

The move will save more than 240 jobs at the 49 stores which remain open, however the 29 stores which were closed at the beginning of the month - 14 of them in Scotland including the Glenrothes branch - will remain closed with the loss of 140 jobs.
