Fourteenth century Balgonie Castle of course.
For the castle, near Markinch, which is home to the Laird of Balgonie and Eddergoll, Raymond Morris and his family, has been described as one of Scotland's most haunted castles.
The Morris' moved into t
he castle in 1985 and were the first people to reside there for 160 years, and over the years the Laird, his wife Margaret and their son Stuart, have all seen the spirits who are sharing their home.
Mr Morris said: "There are at least nine different ghosts here. We have been here for 21 years and they have always been here.
"I have only seen two personally, but both my wife and my son have seen some as well.
Probably the most famous of the castle's spectres is the green lady, also known as 'Green Jeannie', who has been haunting the building for over two centuries.
Mr Morris told The Gazette: "All three of us have seen the green lady, and I've also seen a 17th century soldier standing in the courtyard.
"All those we have seen are either grey, white or green and they start off looking quite solid and then they vaporise."
