THE long-running problem with parking at Adam Smith College’s Stenton Campus looks set to continue after plans to build a new car park were withdrawn, reports KEVIN QUINN.
The college applied last December for permission to make space for 51 cars. But a college spokesperson said: “Following recent discussions with the council we decided to withdraw our original application regarding parking at our Stenton Campus. We still intend to proceed with additional car parking and our consultants are re-drawing the plans based on the outcome of the discussions with the Council. We intend to re-submit these for planning consent in the next couple of weeks.”
