THE Regent cinema recently packed in almost 300 people for a day of live music.

Following on from Rock the Regent, The Big Stooshie once again assembled some of the best local bands, to play alongside others from Dundee, Perth and Kelty, in a bid to raise money for the cinema and charity SSAFA Forces Help.

The gig also raised funds for organising a three-day music festival, which aims to raise over £100,000 for local and national charities, next year.

Ten bands delighted the Leven crowd, playing on a purpose built stage under the cinema screen, showing their projections.

Graham Stewart, of Leven band Patrol, said the day was another great success for the Levenmouth music scene.

He added: “It was an amazing event with some cracking bands who all have to be complemented, we really appreciate the effort everyone has put in.” Pictured above is RPG of Perth. (Photograph courtesy of Margaret Graham).
