Our first picture shows the road leading down to Pettycur Bay, which looks a lot different now than it used to!

The second photograph is of the Man in the Rock sculpture in Dysart.

It was carved in 1851 by a local sculptor, inspired by Byron’s ‘Prisoner of Chillon’.

And the third picture shows the area across from Kirkcaldy docks.

The town’s harbour was a hub of importing and exporting for many years. It was also the scene of a train crash when a steam engine plowed into the harbour basin in 1954.
