Another record level of investment in housing was announced by Fife Council.
The council said it will make an investment totalling £219.456 million in housing in the Kingdom from 2012 to 2016. The money will be spent to further improve the standard of the council’s existing homes as well as on new build houses and other works.
Councillor Brian Goodall, chair of the Housing and Communities committee said: “The money will be targeted in a range of different ways to make the most of every penny.
“Over and above that, the council is continuing to build homes as part of its new build programme.”
