DANCE pupils past and present stepped up to deliver a lasting tribute to one of Levenmouth’s top dancing teachers.

Part of a two-night show at Kirkland High School, by the Fiona Gallacher School of Dancing, was devoted to the memory of Fiona’s mum, Janet Gallacher, who died last year aged 78.

A spectacular series of routines was performed, while many of Janet’s former pupils, from an inspirational seven-decade career, were present or took part.

One audience member remarked: “Every person who appeared on the stage brought something special to the show.”

Photos were also projected on to the stage, telling the story of Janet’s life as a dancer and teacher.
