Twilight Walk warming up for Maggie’s Fife

Last year's event

Last year's event

It’s that time of the year again when local people get geared up to take part in the Twilight Walk in support of Maggie’s Fife. This year’s walk will take place on 2nd of June and will start at 7:30pm. Walkers can choose to walk 1, 5 or 10 miles and it still only costs £5 per participant to take part. Last years walkers raised over £15,000 for Maggie’s Fife.

This year the walk will include a new addition to the start, Pam Weeks, Group Fitness, Fitness Instructor is providing a warm up to get walkers ready. Pam said: “I have done the walk for many years and thought it would be a great idea to offer a warm up. I am delighted the Twilight Walk committee have agreed. I support Maggie’s because I have lost people to cancer. I also know people who have used it. It’s a great local cause and I’m glad to be able to help.”

Doreen Gray, Twilight Walk organiser said: “There will be so much happening at the beginning of the walk, we hope to have Resonate the drum band back to support us
