PUPILS at Parkhill Primary were taken for a trip back in time when a group of people from the Viking times visited the school.
The ‘Vikings’ were all members of the historical Medieval Methil group, and were at the school to tell the P2-3 youngsters about life during those times to help them with projects they were working on.
P3 teacher, Julie Brown, told the Mail: “We have been looking at the Viking way of life and the stories the people from the group were able to tell, with their costumes on, made it a lot more real for the pupils.
“The children absolutely loved it and we noticed a big difference in their storytelling and homework.”
The local Medieval group has been a fixture in the area for some years, and over the summer demonstrates aspects of life in those times on Leven Prom.
