A TOWN school is offering pupils help to stop smoking.

Glenrothes High youngsters will be given confidential advice on how to kick the habit.

The move is being launched to co-incide with National No Smoking Day today (Wednesday).

School nurse, Fiona Anderson, has previously marked the event with a stall, leaflets and posters, but it is now being taken a stage further.

Deputy rector, Derek Allan, said he believed the anti-tobacco message was having an effect on pupils – and teachers.
