The Greenside Hotel in Leslie is hosting a fundraising concert for a woman with cancer this weekend.
The event, which is being organised by Eck and Paula Ruffneck from promoters Ruffneck Red, is being held to raise funds for 25-year-old Tricia Ross.
Having beaten cervical cancer two years ago, Tricia was recently diagnosed with stage four lymphoma that cannot be cured.
Her family and friends are looking to raise the £22,000 needed to access a treatment that could prolong her life and let her live as long as possible to see her eight-year-old son Brandon grow up.
The local event is just one of three music events being held to fundraise – the other two are taking place in Livingston.
Eck, from Ruffneck Red Promotions, said: “We both know Tricia, as Paula used to babysit her and our three daughters grew up with Tricia.
“She now lives in Livingston but wanted to have one of the gigs in Fife, as she has strong family conections in Glenrothes.
“The management at the Greenside has given us the venue for the night.”
The event, featuring Bombskare, Victorian Trout Conspiracy, Big Fat Panda and DJ Miggy, takes place at the Leslie hotel venue this Friday, March 13.
Tickets are on sale from the Greenside or can be reserved from Ruffneck Red at firstname.lastname@example.org
