‘A loving son, brother and uncle’: Tributes paid to Burntisland man who died after crash

Police in Fife can confirm that the driver of the Vauxhall Astra involved in the collision on the A985 near to Kincardine on Sunday, December 6, has sadly died.

Roy Paul (25) from Burntisland died in Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, as a result of his injuries.

His family have issued the following statement: “Roy was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

“We would like to ask for privacy to grieve at this difficult time.”

Temporary Police Sergeant James Henry, of Fife Road Policing, said: “Our thoughts and condolences go to Roy’s family at this difficult time.

“We would like to ask anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or who has information that can assist us with our inquiries, to get in touch.”
