The mystery poet has been up to his tricks again with a third poem having been pinned to a prominent listed building in Leslie.

Residents have been guessing as to the identity of the anonymous scribe who has entertained locals with bizarre postings in recent weeks.

The latest poem, entitled ‘An Xmas Plea’ calls upon the previous owners and Fife Council, the authority now charged with responsibility for the property at 222 High Street, to renovate the house and make it available for a family to turn it into their home once again.

The C-listed building, which is included as part of the Leslie conservation area originally drawn up by the now defunct Kirkcaldy District Council, has been the subject of an bitter Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) which goes back to 2006.
