A NEW booklet has been published to commemorate the £10 million refurbishment of the Adamson Hospital in Cupar.
Written by Guthrie Hutton of Cupar Heritage, the 40-page work traces the history of the hospital from its roots in Ceres in the 1800s through to the present day.
The booklet details the many changes undergone by the Adamson and fondly remembers some of the characters — such as Matron Stark — who worked at the hospital.
‘The Adamson Hospital: the Best Small Hospital in Scotland’ will be on sale from today (Friday) in the reception area of the Adamson and at Cupar Heritage Centre.
Proceeds will go towards the Adamson community cafe project.
