Storm Barney, which is set to batter the UK with winds of 80mph, has been captured in an amazing satellite image.
The storm is seen over the nation in the latest image received by the Satellite Receiving Station at the University of Dundee today (Tuesday).
It was received just before 1pm and shows the vast cloud system of the storm.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for rain in parts of Scotland, including Strathclyde and the Borders.
It is expected that the worst of the rain will hit Fife between 6am and noon on Wednesday.
