Children aged between five and 12 from across Levenmouth were keeping fit and healthy over the summer holidays thanks to two sports summer clubs.

The clubs, run by Active Fife in conjunction with community use schools, took place at Kirkland High School and Kennoway Primary School in the first and last weeks of the summer holidays. The children were given the chance to have a go at a range of sports, including swimming, football and rugby, while a number of local clubs attended to provide taster sessions, including Buckhaven Bowling Club, GTF Scotland, East Fife Youth Academy, Enigma Gymnastics Club, Fife Taekwondo Group and Jammin Fitness. Overall, 116 children attended the clubs which will be repeated in the October break.
