Police Scotland has issued an appeal for assistance in tracing quantities of medication that were misplaced on a Fife bus.

A male left a blue carrier bag onboard the X62 service from Kirkcaldy to Lower Methil sometime around 10.10pm yesterday (Wednesday) when he alighted the vehicle.

Inside the bag were 720 gabapentin tablets, 84 diazepam tablets and eight tedalafil tablets and these have yet to be recovered.

Anyone who comes into possession of these drugs is asked to hand them into their local police station.

The pills can have a serious impact on your health if not taken by the prescribed user and so anyone who finds them is urged not to consume them for personal use.
