The Visioning Levenmouth 2020 project is gathering pace, and the artist commissioned to run it is hoping to engage with lots of locals over the next few weeks.

Jason Nelson will be visting both Kirkland and Buckhaven High Schools to carry out workshops with pupils, staff and visitors to the schools.

As part of the project, which is being led by the Buckhaven Beehive group and partnered with CLEAR Buckhaven, Jason will be asking three questions:

1.What is precious to you about your community?

2. What is unique about your community?

3. Where does your community fit in with this so-called Levenmouth area?

here does your community fit in with this so-called Levenmouth area?

The sessions will be taking place before the end of the spring term, and it isn’t just local youngsters who have the chance to get involved - you can too.

Public consultation events will be taking place within the next few weeks, but anyone who wants to get involved can still do so by texting ‘MYM’ and your answer to any of the above questions to 07537 402 400.

All usual mobile charges will apply, and you can follow the progress of the project in the East Fife Mail.
