Residents from another Methil street have entered into a long-running wrangle over available car park spaces for BiFab employees.
Les Munden, who has lived at Shepherd’s Park for seven years, said: “BiFab workers are taking up to 70 per cent of our parking spaces, seven days a week.
“We get nothing but dog’s abuse and its getting worse.”
The 60 year-old fire protection consultant added: “It’s great that [BiFab]brought work to the area but they should have provided parking spaces for the workforce.
“The problem is BiFab’s fault. This is an accident waiting to happen.”
His complaints echo those of residents living near Swan Brae, where up to 200 cars are regularly parked along double yellow lines, on grass verges and in the centre of roundabout at the entrance to Fife Energy Park.
A spokesman for Scottish Enterprise said: ““We are currently in detailed discussions with a view to helping the company alleviate issues around parking in the area.”
