Hundreds of bikes, vintage and modern, are set to converge on Kirkcaldy’s Beveridge Park this weekend for the second Bikes in the Park event.

The event, organised by the Kirkcaldy and District Motor Club, to commemorate the annual Scottish Road Races which took part there for 40 years, will feature trade stands, displays of bike riding, a photo display in the marquee and exhibitions of some weird and wonderful bikes from through the decades.

Gates will open on Sunday at 10.00 a.m. and entry is free, although donations to help run the event would be welcome.

The event is being sponsored by Digby Brown Solicitors, and there is the chance to win a brand new motorbike, courtesy of Coolbikeshop in Commercial Street, and tickets will be on sale at the Club stand priced £1 each or £5 for a book.

Food will be served in the Kirkcaldy Rugby Club premises, where toilets are also available.
