A CRACKDOWN on motorists flouting driving laws saw over 70 people charged with offences in north east Fife recently.

Fife Police blitzed roads in and around school routes and towns after concerns were raised at Community Engagement Meetings.

Of the 70 charged during the initiative, which took place all off last month and the first week of October, charges included drink driving, speeding, using a mobile phone and not wearing a seatbelt.
