A KINGHORN couple who met at the Palais De Danse in Burntisland have been celebrating 60 years of marriage.
Molly and Bob Donaldson toasted the milestone by enjoying a family meal at the Strathearn Hotel in Kirkcaldy on Saturday.
Molly (83), who is originally from Buckhaven, and Bob (83), who is from Kinghorn, courted for two years before tying the knot at Innerleven Church in Methil on March 17, 1952.
They opted to stay in Kinghorn where they have lived for the past 60 years.
Before they married Molly worked in a factory in Leslie and Bob served as a shipwright.
He spent many years employed at Burntisland Shipyard and ended up working at Rosyth Dockyard for 19 years, where he finally retired.
The couple have three children - Angela, Brian and Craig, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
