Blackbourne Integrated M&E has been awarded the Mechanical and Electrical contract for the brand new state of the art sport and leisure centre in Glenrothes for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.
Blackbourne is due to start on site in February 2012 and the new complex is due to open in April 2013.
The centre is expected to cost around £21 million and has been designed to replace the Fife Institute for Physical and Recreational Education (FIPRE).
Blackbourne Mechanical Director Giles Hill commented: “This project win is another in a continued successful relationship with GRAHAM Construction in the Leisure sector along with the ongoing work at the Royal Commonwealth Pool project in Edinburgh.”
