GREEN Business Fife and its partners Diageo and William Tracey Group hosted an interactive conference and exhibition at the Fife Renewables Innovation Centre in Methil last week, focussing on how businesses can benefit from adopting green energy and low carbon technology.

Part of national EU Sustainable Energy Week, it provided delegates and companies with the opportunity to develop their understanding and knowledge of low carbon technologies and their role in the Scottish Government’s move towards a low carbon economy. Speakers included Maitland Mackie from Mackies, Lisa Jordan from Air Products, European guest Christian Doczekal and Duncan Stewart from Diageo. Robin Stevenson, MD at William Tracey Group, said: “The conference gave companies a great opportunity to network and learn from other businesses, as well as equip them with the knowledge to put environmental sustainability at the heart of business.”
