FOURTH year pupils from from Fife high schools have been taking part in a project with Adam Smith College aimed at getting them fit for work.
Pupils from Auchmuty, Glenrothes and Glenwood high schools in Glenrothes attended the skills for work hairdressing course.
One of the pupils, Shannon Russell (15), said: “I have been doing the course for two years now and I really enjoy it.
“It’s different from learning at school as we are treated more like adults and we get to help out in the college salon which is great work experience.
“It’s also really good working with other people and meeting pupils from different schools.”
