Cupar Baptist Church is opening its doors to people from all walks of life tomorrow (Saturday) for a day of prayer amid the present world turmoil.

Rev. Tim Power is so appalled by the atrocities happening in war-torn areas and the horror of Ebola that he wants people to join him from 9.00 a.m. onwards.

He said: “All Christian and most moderate religious leaders are expressing their grave concern not only for the plight of Christians in war-torn areas but also for the suffering of all innocent civilians as they face the onslaught of rising evil and wickedness.

“It’s most definitely time of people of faith and even those with questions about faith to turn to God and ask for help, to pray for peace and an end to the persecution of all people.

“People are welcome to join us at prayer stations dotted around the church. They can join us in prayer, they can sit quietly in the sanctuary, their presence will be welcome for a short or longer time.”
